On Joy

This is a picture of joy. I just wanted to share it, so that when you're having a bad day, you can remember what joy looks like. As you may imagine, I was present when this picture was snapped and heard the shrieks and the laughter too. But I take this picture out often to remember joy. To remember breathless anticipation. To remember courage. And the shock of cold water. And fun. And sparkly eyes. You know ... sheer ... unadulterated ... JOY!!
